A couple of weekends ago I was privileged to share a Saturday with some
lovely people
 look at them.......

the blue coat is my fun Debbie friend,
the red coat is my sweet Janice friend
the spring green coat is my lifer friend Teresa.
Yes, Teresa and I have been friends since
kindergarten, she is a rare and precious find.
Not only is she a lifer but she is one of the most resourceful, generous people I know.
She pre-planned a trip for all of us.
We were informed by email to set aside the day and plan to dress warmly.
All of us emailed her back excited and eagerly waited for the day to arrive.
We were instructed to meet at Teresa's house
at 8:30am. Which when I arrived everyone was there already waiting for me.....
typical.....it is rare for me
to be completely on time.
Fun Debbie immediately couldn't contain her excitement and asks where we are going and Teresa is determined to not release any information prematurely......
Stop #1
Cathedral Coffee Shop

I did not take any photos. And I will admit I stole this one off the internet from an online magazine called Daily Coffee News.
It is located at 7530 North Willamette in St Johns.
The coffee is smooth and the eats are yummy.

Stop #2

The Pittock Mansion

Built by Henry Pittock who was an owner of
The Oregonian at one time.

The rooms were truly beautiful.......

Here is the "partner" photo to the photo that I posted at the beginning of my story.

My lame attempt at a selfie....
my friends look great!
I only have an eye & a nose.
Here is a link to the Pittock Mansion
Which by the way is AMAZING when it is
decorated for Christmas......

Stop #3
Was a McMenamins restaurant.
Lunch before we said goodby to sweet Janice. Mom duty called and she was off to
watch her daughter play in
a volleyball playoff game.

Stop #4
A place that I had been wanting to try for months

Salt & Straw

This ice creamery creates their own
ice cream with unique flavors.
Honey Lavendar
Freckled Woodblock Chocolate
Cinnamon Snickerdoodle
Stumptown Coffee & Burnside Bourbon
and lots more
Oh....I got 1/2 scoop Sea Salt Carmel &
1/2 scoop Cinnamon Snickerdoodle
in a waffle cone, completely delightful
Here is a link to their website.....

So thank you to my friends
for giving me a day to laugh & explore
 a BIG thank you
to my lifer....
Teresa Robertson you are the best
and I love you!
