With spring approaching in the Pacific Northwest less rain means more motorcycle riding.

My husband loves riding his motorcycle and when the weather is good he will hop on and go for a ride just to clear his mind.
He affectionately calls his motorcycle Dr. Kawasaki.
Last week when he came home from a ride on the Dr. he realized he had forgot to zip up his jacket pocket and his wallet fell out somewhere on his ride.
He came into the kitchen with a dejected look on his face and said "I lost my wallet". I said. "do you feel like you have just been punched in the gut?" he said "yes". Oh... how I know that feeling. When you get that sinking feeling of what am I going to do now. It feels like a huge boulder has just landed in your stomach and there is no certain way to get rid of it.
Late that Wednesday he took one of the girls, and retraced his ride. As he drove along the country roads our daughter earnestly looked in the ditch trying to see if she could spot the wallet.
They returned at dark with no luck.
My husband prayed that night.....
"Lord, I thank you that my wallet is going to return to me. That you know where that wallet is and you are going to bring it back into my possession." He spoke it in faith. He spoke it in knowing his relationship with the Lord.
Two days later he got a call from our church that is located outside of the town we live in. Someone had found his wallet and turned it into the church.
It was a great reminder that God does care about us......
He cares about something as small as losing our wallet
I told that story to a friend of mine this week and immediately
the Holy Spirit quickened her spirit with a scripture that I would like to share with you here. It is a scripture of children returning. I posted a photo of my husband and my oldest daughter with purpose. I know there are many mamas out there that ache for their children who have walked away from what they have been taught.
Those parents have the "sinking feeling" in their gut when they think of their children and the choices that they have made. Their heart cries out as they watch their grown children wander from their roots.
Just like my husband's wallet.... I would encourage you mama's to stand on this scripture. To meditate on it, get it in your spirit to stand believing your children will return......
this is His promise for you

 The Lord says,
“Keep your voice from weeping,
    and your eyes from tears,
for there is a reward for your work,
declares the Lord,
and they shall come back from the land of the enemy.
There is hope for your future,
declares the Lord,
and your children shall come back to their own country."
Jeremiah 31 :16 - 17
