Yes, I have a confession...
I am an official Cat Lady.
I have always liked cats.
When I was a child I lived  on a farm and we had cats.
A couple of barn cats and one, what I would call an"indoor, outdoor cat".
The indoor, outdoor cat we named Snickers he was a big fat striped gray kitty.
My sister and I would dress him up in baby clothes and we would put him in an old baby buggy and
wheel him around. He would patiently look up at us and purr. He was the best companion.
Never was angry at us, followed us everywhere, loved being petted.
I know most people love dogs and despise cats and truly I understand that.
A dog is a companion like no other, yet they are like having another child.
 A definite "fur baby".
At this time in my life I am done with having babies. Please no offense meant to my lovely friends who
are having babies, or have had babies recently or have a dog that they consider their "fur baby".
I just want a pet. I discussed with my hubby how this pet would be great therapy for our girls since our family recently had been through some very difficult personal things and he agreed.
So I went on Facebook and posted this status..

Within a couple of days and people sharing my status we had a male kitten.

4 months old and litter trained.....woohoo! I love the litter trained part.

We named him Toby.

We originally called him Sparta.... but my husband insisted that he soon would
not be manly enough for that name because he was going to get the
"snip, snip".
Which he promptly did. So he became Toby.

The cat that was intended to be therapy for the family.
Has become fur therapy for me.

In the morning when he comes in the house
he immediately plops down on the wood floor waiting to be petted.
He waits till I sit down so he can curl up next to me as I stroke his fur and read my Bible.
God's word therapy for my spirit, and the cat, therapy for my soul.
What is it about fur therapy? I really don't know .......but I like it.
Oh, also don't worry about me becoming a CRAZY cat lady.
My husband is still my number one and
cat accumulation in our house has reached it maximum limit at
